Maybe one more thing:
If your engine is relatively new, ignore this. But as an engine gets older, it builds up carbon deposits on valves and cylinder heads, rings, etc. well carbon is a slightly chalky almost porous type buildup, this soaks moisture up like crazy.....kinda like a sponge. due to the high quality steel usually used in valves, the metal will rust pretty rapidly. so, this is what I would do:

1.remove spark plug wire and plug.
2.spray a light oil mist into cylinder(wd40, this will "mist" oil onto the valves. I would say a 5 second squirt.
3. measure one tablespoon of oil (engine oil) and plop it into the spark plug hole.
4. with the spark plug wire OFF, then crank the engine for 7 seconds(to disperse oil in cylinder).
5. people with h-d's dont do this, will ruin electronic ignition on late model harleys.
6. perform all the other stuff that people suggested like battery, etc.

one month of idle time for ANY engine is its worst enemy, run em once a week if you dont winterize them. But this will indeed save your entire engine from aging indefinately.
